Matt Eliason is Spoonguy.

Why Spoonguy? Well it seems a quirky sort of a moniker and ties in well with my yearning to make wooden spoons.

On Facebook I have spoonguy.au and the same on Instagram because someone else has just Spoonguy.

As you will see on the woodwork  page I have spoons for sale and also information on my workshops where I teach beginner’s spoon carving.

The great thing about making spoons is every spoon is unique, there is no right or wrong way to design a spoon…I like mine to be visually appealing but also functional and lovely to hold in the hand and use.

In fact people have told me they enjoy cooking more using spoonguy’s hand crafted wooden spoons.
